TRANSFORMATION FOR MANIFESTATION

For (even the whole) creation (all nature) waits expectantly

And longs earnestly for God’s sons to be made known

(awaits the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship).

(Romans 8:19 AMP)

 

The spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are

Children of God.

(Romans 8:16).

For the earnest expectation of the creation

Eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God.

(Romans 8:19 NKJV).

After salvation, believers are not just to be a spectator of every event that happens in the globe, we are to be actively involved in every sector of the economy, political issues, government’s parastatals, research fields and many more. Our God is not an idle God, and He will not tolerate idleness from anyone who called him/herself His son or daughters. Our God is a good business man, anything He invest into your life He expects return in many fold.

The above scripture says; the earnest expectation of man waits for the manifestations of the sons of God. Do you know the meaning of that? We believers are the solutions to the crisis of the world. God will hold us responsible for anything that happens in our environment be it good or bad. And the world at large awaits us for response to the situation on ground. Have you ever be in an organization or in your family and an issue arises, and they being know you as a believer ask you what is your opinion on issues and the likes. I could remember back then on campus whenever any quarrel broke up in my hostel, they will make me the judge of the matter, why? Because they discover I have something they don’t have and more importantly, they trust me that my judgement will be true. That is manifestation. In other to manifest as a life that has pass through transformation by the Word, light and voice of God our FRIUT will tell. And we have two types of fruit which are: Good fruits and the bad fruits (Matthew 7:15-20). And the kind of tree we are, is the kind of fruits we will bear, for a mango tree cannot have orange as fruits, neither can you harvest yam on a cocoa plantation. Areas we need to bear fruits to manifest include;

·        CHARACTER AND ATTITUDES

The Encarta dictionary defines character as distinctive qualities that make somebody different and the English dictionary defines it as a moral strength one have. Attitude on the other portrays our view or general opinion about something and it also means our bodily posture- a physical posture either consciously or unconsciously, especially while interacting with others.

One of the fruits we manifest knowingly or unknowingly is through our character and attitude. A popular saying says attitude speaks louder than voice. What you do per time can either make someone or mar someone’s life whether you know or not. As a believer we not just to be living anyhow any more people are watching you, you are some people role model and you may never know this, no wonder our life is not ours anymore. We must be conscious of our words, behaviour at home and anywhere. Some believers are chameleon, they pretend well outside and at home they are the worst parent in the world, they are vipers as wife, wife beater, terror and enemy to brothers and sisters, Oh what a height of ungodliness is this. A preacher says, you are not yet a man of God until your children, spouse, family and neighbour calls you a man of God indeed that is when you are a man of God.

 The kind of person you are is the kind of attitudes you portray. You cannot hide nor camouflage for long, a yoruba adage says, Character is a smoke, it cannot be covered. We Christians of this generation must learn how to build character, we are in generation of moral decadence, when the things that are consider evil, bad, and outrageous have now become the other of the day. Many Christians cannot preach to their classmate, colleagues at work, family members, neighbours because we are in no way different from them, they collect and give bribes we also do, they lie at will, we also do, they back time at work we also do, in fact most times you’ve engage in physical combat with your neighbours, now tell me how can you talk to them, even if you do will they give your words a second thought? Let’s RE-THINK, let’s build up good character like Christ our mentor.

And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch.

And it came to pass that a whole year they assembled

 themselves with the church, and taught much people.

Ands the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.

(Acts 11:26 KJV.)

Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain:

 but a woman who feareth the lord, she shall be praised.

(Proverbs 31:30 KJV).

When the gentiles in Antioch see the disciples they know they had been with Christ hence they called them Christians for their character and attitude reflect that of Christ they profess. The word Christians has now become a title that is even hereditary to some. My parents are Christians so I’m also a Christian and this person has no encounter with Christ, in fact he/she has never confess Jesus with his/her mouth tell me, how is he a Christian. You are not to be boasting around that you are a Christian, rather let your character and attitudes tells the world that you are. Saint Augustine of old says, preach the gospel always and if necessary use words. Do you know the meaning of that, let your life be your message, and a pastor also says your life is your message, your character should portray Christ, or how do you think the Jews easily recognize Peter as one of the twelve see Mathew 26:69. Attitudes truly speaks louder than voice. As a true follower of Christ that has passed through transformation should manifest through our character and attitudes via refined temperament in the Holy Ghost and not otherwise. Let God eliminate our weakness and use our strength for His glory.   

Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

Your very lives are a letter that anyone can read by just looking at you.

(2 Corinthians 3:2 MSG)

And the scripture says in Matthew 7:20 that by their fruits we shall know them, or let me say by our fruits they shall know us, whether we have moral virtues or not. Absence of moral dignity has deprive many of their promotion, upliftment, blessing and even the kingdom of God. LET THE CHANGE START FROM YOU AND I.

·        EVANGELISM

The greatest commission ever to everyone that has accept the lord Jesus is soul winning. Ye that are saved, rise up for the salvation of others. We are not to fold our hands and refrain our tongues when we seriously need to act. Ungodliness has creep into every corner and every sector of the economy and Christians do nothing to this dreadful acts. We seriously need to wake up and rise for the dying souls. Millions of people are heading to hell day by day, and the number of people on the way of life kept on decreasing. What are we doing to this? That we are now a born again Christian doesn’t tells you that the end. We are saved to serve. This is an area that many preachers of the gospel has deviate from, and we must rise and stand in gap for our generation.

The people of the land have used oppression,

 and exercised robbery,

And have vexed the poor and needy: yea,

 they have oppressed the stranger wrongfully.

And I sought for a man among them

that should make up the hedge,

And stand in the gap before me for the land,

that I should not destroy it: but I found none.

(Ezekiel 22:29-30 KJV)

God search through a whole country, and couldn’t find just one person to stand in gap before Him for the land, oh what a pity! We seriously need to know our responsibility in Christ Jesus and do it in earnest, arise for evangelism that is the heartbeat of God. Unbelievers are all around you, tell someone Jesus loves him or her and you’ve sown a seed in to the heart of such fellow. Sponsor the kingdom outreach and even be actively involved in it. Have morning cry if you are ashamed of being seen in the day light, for the harvest is much, but the labourers are few.

·        POLITICS

Many Christians really needs orientation about what politics really is. We assume and accept the misconception of politics through the corrupt leaders in power and we come to a conclusion that politics is a dirty game and that kingdom minded believers should not be there.

Hmmm, the political sector is an important sector that Christians must seek the face of God for to attain, for that is a very easy platform to rule the world. In the beginning in Israel God was directly involve in their political affairs by giving them King that fit them per time. The servant of God Samuel plays a key role for this to happen, but is that the case for our nations today? We fold our hands and allow the infidel to rule over us and we expect something great. No way!

Your transformation does not end at the corner of your room, people needs to see your God in and through you.

For a country that is as corrupt as Nigeria and we have churches at every crooks and crannies of the city, my anger always has been that what are we preaching! Yet Nigeria still maintains the top list of one of the most corrupt countries in the world. What a shame to the Christian body in the country.

Let’s wake up from our slumber, let’s be active and not combative, we shouldn’t sit down and let infidels rule us, it’s a shame on us.

Let others see Jesus in and through you.

NOTE: I’m not saying every believer should join politics or be in a particular political party, but if you discover you have a passion and zeal to go into politics, as a believer, you are expected to see the face of God sincerely before you venture into it.

·        CAREER AND DESTINY.

Career is what we choose to become as a result of our field of study, an area where one is trained and expected to work for an entire working life. While destiny on the other hand is someone preordained future, an inner realizable purpose for life.

Now as a child of God we are to pant more for fulfilling destiny rather than chasing career, the people of the world chase career, we the children of the light we pursue our destiny.

But note this that, your career might not be your destiny but surely in your destiny lies a career. Daddy Adeboye could have been a professor by now, that is a career and not a destiny, Dr D.K Olukoya could have also been a professor by now, that is a career and not a destiny, most times if we are not careful, we might be too satisfy with our career to go into our destiny, you might have law as a career, but God has President of a nation for you as a destiny, you might choose to be a teacher or lecturer and God has you to be a teacher of the Word as destiny, so you urgently needs to wake up into the realization of your destiny, that is the more reason why many are just sick of Monday mornings, going to a place of work they are not happy with. You will see frustrated Lecturers, even some Professors, frustrated Doctors, frustrated engineers and a host of frustrated people in the banking sectors and many more that you will think they’ve made it in life but they have this inner bitterness that only there purpose in life can sweetened.

And you see, your course of study especially for the graduate and the vocation you learn has a way of disguising itself as your purpose for life, you have to be very flexible to the leading of God in going for a profession even after your graduation from school or from the vocation you learn. Don’t be moved by your certificate it might not be your destiny.

You may be ordained to be a nurse, taking care of the sick and in turn preaching Christ to them, but here you are studying chemistry, so don’t you ever be moved by your course of study, pray to God for it.

And I see this as a work every parent must give their lifetime praying for each of their children/wards to discover the plan of God for them as early as possible, but it is actually otherwise these days, I’ve heard a situation whereby the parent force all their four children to be in medical line all because they were in that field, and one of the children that fall victim was seriously saying that he want to be an actor but his parent force all of them to science class, and finally now to medical profession this is seriously bad, we need to have parent like Manoah and his wife (Judges 13) who have a connection with God and they can hear clearly from God what their unborn son will be, parents like Zachariah and Elizabeth, parents like Mary and Joseph, etc. who can stand in gap for their children, hear God’s directives for their children and wards not parent that seek career or jobs for their children/wards through connection as it is the popular practice now. This goes a long way in helping the children fulfilling destiny in life.

The place of fulfilling destiny is very important for manifestation as a child of God.
